Acknowledging the significance of the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs recently produce a Commemorative Medallion and Certificate of Commemoration. 75th Anniversary of VP Day

Saturday 15th August 2020 marked the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Pacific –  the end of Australia’s involvement in World War 2. A small but dignified Commemorative Service was held at the Port Macquarie Cenotaph. We were privileged to have in attendance, three WW2 Veterans – Ross Drummond, Jean Lacey and Neville Peel-Davis.
